Disney princess, Brave's Merida, needed a makeover before officially becoming a Disney princess.  So why are some people not happy about it?

The animated heroine was officially crowned the 11th Disney princess last weekend, you may have seen her on Ellen today, but before she was made Disney's latest princess, they decided she needed a few tweaks to her image.

The new Merida is thinner, with perfected facial features, tamed hair and a more suggestive dress.  Critics are not happy.  They claim Merida was always independent and strong and a great role model especially for young girls and that the new changes almost make her Disney's new politically correct princess.

Just remember, we will always have Cinderella.
