The Center for Disease Control (CDC) is warning owners of hot tubs and pools to be vigilant of a disease called Cryptosporidium (Crypto).

Crypto has been spreading more and more over the past few years and the CDC claims if you have a hot tube or pool you should take this very seriously.

The CDC says the reason this disease exists is because humans are relieving themselves more and more in pools and hot tubs.  They report, we could stop the breeding and spreading of Crypto by practicing better personal hygiene.

New statistics out by the CDC found almost 1800 cases have been documented between 2011 and 2012.  95% of those cases sent victims to the hospital.  There has been one known death from Crypto.
