I had a great time on my vacation to New York last week. I traveled with my brother and his family to Albany and New York City. My brother wanted to go to Cooperstown and his daughter wanted to celebrate her birthday in the city. We spent 3 days in the Albany area, visiting with old friends and touring the Baseball Hall of Fame and Cooperstown, then took a three-hour train ride down to New York City. Steve Wiley always told me that the difference between upstate NY state and NY City is huge and he couldn’t have been more right! Albany, the state capitol, is peaceful, hilly and historic. New York City is busy, flat and eclectic. We enjoyed both, but wow, NYC living must be brutal-  unless you have all the money in the world! Besides the regular touristy things, my nephew and I had the opportunity to see 'The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,' which was a huge thrill for a Fallon fan like me! Here are a few of the photos I shot.
