Dave’s Close Encounter with Musher Martin Buser, Iditarod 2016 – Deb’s Alaska Adventure

When you move around the corner and up a few blocks from the ceremonial starting line, there are no barricades and the crowds are less dense. It was here, across from Anchorage Memorial Park, at Cordova and 9th Street, that we easily got a high-fives from several of the mushers, including four-time champion, Martin Buser.
