Crowley Woman Dies In Traffic Crash

The Acadia Parish Sheriff's Office says a 35-year-old Nicole Marie Hebert of Paulette Lane in Crowley was killed when her car crashed into a ditch near the intersection of Harmon & Goodrich Road early Sunday morning.

Just before 3:30 a.m., Hebert's car went off the roadway, crashed into a ditch and flipped over.

Both the driver and passenger were thrown out of the car.

Hebert was pronounced dead at the scene by the Acadia Parish Coroner.

The passenger, Ricky Paul Sonnier, was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.
