A female driver who allegedly led sheriff's deputies on a chase and into a standoff has been arrested, according to our news partners at KATC.

Deputies were responding to a call of a burglary in progress when they came across the woman allegedly driving recklessly. The chase then ensued, through Acadia and Lafayette Parishes, with her car crashing at the corner of Ridge Road and Dwayne Drive. But deputies discovered she wasn't responsible for the burglary, but was running from police because she had outstanding warrants.

Police say they are still looking for the burglary suspects.
