Couples Who Share Housework Break Up

Being lazy around the house may keep your marriage together as a new study shows that couples who share housework have a better chance at breaking up.

A study found that couples who split the housework evenly are 50% more likely to divorce!  How can this be?  We've always been taught to do our share.  Experts believe the problem lies in tradition.  Bucking traditional roles by sharing responsibilities around the house, some experts believe, makes couples  have less respect for marriage and are more likely to suffer marital problems that lead to divorce.

Women still do most of the chores around the house (in 11% of couples, women reportedly do almost all of the work).

It may be that couples who share the housework are more likely to split up because women get sick of having to re-do all the chores their husbands mess up.
