With growth, comes growing pains. That is a lesson that the Youngsville Town Council has become used to facing.

At last night's town council meeting, dozens of Youngsville residents showed up to discuss the proposition of developing an RV park.

Councilman Matt Romero told Acadiana's Morning News audience many in the standing-room only crowd were concerned with setting up the RV park within a comfortable vicinity to their properties. The council and Mayor Ken Ritter suggested a 150-foot range from any adjacent properties.

The council introduced the ordinance to establish the RV park which will on next month's agenda for final adoption.
