Controversial Military Exercise Begins Today In Louisiana, Other States

For months now, conspiracy theorists and even some politicians have expressed fears and concerns about Jade Helm 15, a military training exercise involving seven states.

'Master The Human Domain,' is the slogan of Jade Helm 15, a Special Operations exercise that involves Arizona, California, Florida, Louisiana, New Mexico, Texas, and Utah. Our own Camp Beauregard in Rapides Parish is involved in the exercise, which will see Army Green Berets, Navy SEALs, and other SpecOps troops conducting covert drills and operations on private property, military bases, and a number of public facilities, according to USAToday.

Conspiracy theorists fear that the military operation is a means of establishing martial law, rounding up civilian weapons, and even incarcerating US citizens who dislike the policies of President Obama. Some theorists have also connected the bizarre closure of a number of Wal - Mart stores in the last few months to the exercise.

Texas has seen the most outspoken opponents of the exercise, with some civilians planning to 'shadow' the military's operations in the state to look out for suspicious activity.
