Community Meeting Tonight In North Vermilion Parish

There will be a meeting at North Vermilion High School tonight at 6pm about the crime in that area.

I saw this on Facebook this morning:

Reminder: If you live in northern Vermilion parish please attend meeting tonight at North Vermilion at 6 pm as we find out tips to take our community back and fight crime.

 

I remember hearing on the news recently that there have been some break-ins in that area, and that at least 3 people were arrested in those crimes.  Has there been another rash of crime in that area?  Someone fill me in!
