Saints wide receiver Marques Colston has been an inspiration since the seventh round draft pick arrived in New Orleans back in 2006. He's gone on to establish himself as one of the NFL's premier wide receivers.

Now, he's helping teens turn their troubled lives around.

Colston's teamed up with the bottled water company  WAT-AAH!, and AMIkids to assist kids in nine states, including Louisiana. The program is geared to help teens with issues from low self-esteem to run-ins with the law.

He set up a meet-and-greet with some of his teammates before today's game against the Kansas City Chiefs for 12 winners of an essay contest sponsored by WAT-AAH!. There's a limited-edition water bottle featuring Colston's No. 12 jersey available at Rouse's Supermarkets in Louisiana and Mississippi. Proceeds benefit AMIkids.

"These kids are primary examples of how you can take adversity and beat it head on Just seeing the determination of these kids, fighting through adversity and keeping their eyes on the prize is amazing."  - Marques Colston

The Saints wideout says he teamed up with the company to bring awareness to childhood obesity and to promote healthy lifestyles.
