CJ’s Daily Message: I Admit It, I’m An Overprotective Parent

I think today's message may be more for me than anyone else.  I am an overprotective parent and I'm not sure that's a good thing.  I try to swoop in and fix everything wrong in my kid's lives, many times without letting them try to fix it on their own.  And that is a huge disservice to them.

The message today is taken from Anne Bronte.  It's a reminder for all of us overprotective mommies and daddies to pull back a bit and let our children handle life's problems on their own.  We can teach and guide but ultimately the work should be done by them, not us.
