Christmas at the Lafayette Market

Christmas at the Lafayette Market at Moncus Park will take palce on December 10^th and 17^th,  with extended hours until 2 PM. Free rides on Santa’s Sleigh from 9–11 AM.  The Market is also a donation drop-off point for Toys for Tots. On Saturday, December 10^th, Prairie Elementary French Immersion students will sing Christmas Carols from 10 AM – 12 Noon.

Locally grown farm products to be featured in December include citrus, carrots, turnips, lettuce, kale, mushrooms, cabbage, beets, honey, grass-fed beef, farm fresh eggs, and much more.  The Lafayette Farmer’s and Artisans Market at Moncus Park at the Horse Farm is a weekly producers-only market where over 50 vendors bring the best of fresh produce, locally prepared foods, and hand crafted works of art to the Acadiana community. Extended hours for the Christmas edition of the Market are rain or shine.
