The informal recall last week of Chobani Greek-style yogurt is being placed under review by the FDA. On Friday, the company asked stores to pull fifteen flavors of their product from store shelves, but made no announcement to the public. The problem was said to be "swelling or bloating," but customers also reported yogurt that was fizzy and runny. When customers began complaining on facebook, the company said containers with expiration dates of September 9 to October 7 and the code 16-012 should be thrown away. Chobani says customers with the affected code dates should contact its customer service team at care@chobani.com to get replacement products. Read what Chobani has to say here.
