Over 50,000 child car safety seats are being recalled by the Evenflo company, as children can loosen the straps due to a flaw in the design.

According to AOL, Evenflo has issued the recall on the 3-in-1 Transitions seats after feedback from consumers included mentions of children loosening the harness on the seats.  The company was concerned that the loose straps would jeopardize the safety of the seats.

The recall affects the Transitions 3-in-1 car seats with model number 34411686, 34411695 and 34411029 -- all manufactured prior to Jan. 29, 2016. - AOL.com

The Evenflo website offers consumers a chance to order a "remedy kit" if the seat they use is included in the recall:

To determine if your child's seat is included in this recall and to order a remedy kit, please provide your seat's model number and date of manufacture here or call us at Evenflo's ParentLink Consumer Resource Center at 1-800-233-5921, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Please do not return your child's Transitions seat to retailers. - Evenflo
