Charles Schultz Get Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

On this day in 1996, cartoonist Charles M. Schultz received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

I am a fan of Peanuts, and of Charles M. Schultz - so much so, that I chose this question as my No-Brainer today.  (If you go to the Winner's Club at our website and put 'Charles Schultz' as the answer, you'll get your 2500 bonus points!)

There are a few things that stick out in my mind when people ask me about my memories of the holidays when I was a kid:  Santa Claus is one, and the other is Snoopy.  I know that Charlie Brown is the 'main' character of Peanuts, but my favorites are Snoopy and Woodstock.  Hands down!

I usually read the newspaper daily, and, because of 'modern technology', most of the stories were the same ones that I had read online the night before, but the funnies are always fresh!
