I-10 in Lafayette Will Close at 8:30 AM Today
On Wednesday, December 26, 2012, between the hours of 8:30 am and 10:00 am, Lafayette Police will be closing I-10 East bound at North University Avenue. I-10 traffic will be diverted onto Ambassador Caffery to West Willow Street while the roadway remains closed

A single speeding camera in Washington, D.C., has put together collection of statistics that would be the envy of entire police forces: Over the last 23 months, the camera has issued 116,734 tickets with fines totaling $11.6 million.

I-10 Mississippi River Bridge Closed in Baton Rouge [UPDATE: Now Open]
UPDATE 8:20 AM
Advisory: I-10 MS River Bridge reopened. Baton Rouge City Police advises east and westbound lanes of travel are completely open. Drivers are encouraged to remain patient and expect delays as traffic will take some time to return to normal levels.
