July 14, 2011 Louisiana native Scotty Granger survives another round on Bravo's 'Platinum Hit', a TV show that gives more of a behind-the-scenes look than most reality shows. It also incorporates plenty of personality, drama and romance. The cast includes New Orleans native Scotty, who you may remember from the 2009 season of ABC's 'Wipeout'. He's the great-nephew of Mahalia Jackson and the brother of NBA All-Star Danny Granger, so you can see why he's a talented musician and athlete! July 11, 2011 Shannon and I went to Celebrity Theatres yesterday, and we really enjoyed the tub of popcorn (buttered, of course) and the Coke. And each others' company.

June 30, 2011 I know that the new ‘Transformers’ movie is supposed to be the huge summer blockbuster, but ‘Dark of the Moon’ won't be getting any of my money. I don't go for the big action-packed, special-effects-filled, very loud cinematic experience. I'm looking for something nice and sweet and funny. So if I get a chance to go to the movies over the July 4th weekend, I'll be going to see Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts in ‘Larry Crowne’ or Jim Carey in 'Mr. Popper's Penguins.'
