Winds as of 7am in Lafayette are steady at 23 mph, with gusts around 35; in St. Mary Parish, Cleco reports over 6,300 customers without power, and winds in St. Mary Parish are being reported above 30 mph.

Lionel was the singer, bass drummer and assistant leader of the Treme Brass Band.
