For over 60 years, NORAD has been tracking Santa on Christmas Eve as he makes his way around the globe to deliver presents to good little boys and girls, and this year is no different.
I wrote a story earlier last week about being able to track Santa as he delivers presents on Christmas Eve. It got me wondering how this 60-year tradition was started, so I got on the internet and started researching.
In south Louisiana, we sure do love a good bonfire. But there's probably no place around that does it as big as the River Parishes along the Mississippi River.

It's also a great activity to do with your kids or a loved one. My favorite memories are helping my Grandma make oatmeal cookies in her kitchen as a kid. So I've put together a nice little list of cookie-making items to replace and update older versions or make your cookie-baking easier!
