On Friday June 17th Arnaudville police officer and husband Zachary Williams was burned in his face,arm and hand while trying to burn brush in his yard. He is a full time police officer for the small community of Arnaudville, but he needs the help of all of Acadiana.

Due to the size of the Arnaudville Department, insurance is not provided for employees. An account to help has been set up.

The Down Syndrome Association of Acadiana is holding its 2nd Annual Shoot for the Stars Skeet Shoot fundraiser at GOL shooting range in Maurice June 18th.

The garage sale will take place at the American Legion Hall, Post 69, 1501 Surrey Street in Lafayette.
