When children are removed from homes, it is often done so quickly that there is no time to pick up any of their belongings. That's where you come in!

Bert Grace is a long-time friend of our radio station and, if you've ever gone to a Louisiana Icegator hockey game, you probably know Bert, too.

In addition to the car/bike wash, they will also have cash donation bake sale going on.

Registration opens at 8am, and vehicles out at 10am. Raffles, auctions, food, music - it will all make for a great day!

The Amazing Race of Acadiana is coming September 21, 2019! Modeled after the hit television show "The Amazing Race", the Acadiana version will begin and end at Vermilionville on Surrey Street. Contestants will have to complete mental and physical challenges which may include kayaking, rock climbing, trivia, puzzles, dance competitions, and eating contests...

The sale will take place this Saturday, May 18, from 11 AM - 1:30 PM. Your $8 donation will get you a sausage poboy, chips, and a drink.

Proceeds will benefit Down Syndrome Association of Acadiana, Autism Society of Acadiana, St. Joseph’s Diner, Desormeaux Foundation, and LARC of Acadiana

The conference at which the FCCLA students will compete in California takes place June 29-July 5, so time is short to raise the funds needed!

Not only giving back to the community by donating vegetables, but they are also helping the next generation learn how important it is to get involved.

If everyone reading this were to donate just $1, Ahmad's burial could take place, and the family can have closure and begin the process of healing.

Prizes include cash, a duck call, a barbecue grill, an electronic photo frame, a bottle of whiskey, and a fishing rod and reel.

The event will raise money for a great cause: to send local Family, Career & Community Leaders of America students to the national conference.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to Faith House, a domestic violence crisis center and shelter.

Early registration is $30 ($35 day of), and $25 per extra rider. The event will feature food, music, and family fun.

The Cajun Invasion Dragon Boat Racing Team consists of cancer survivors and supporters, of all ages and gender, who live in Acadiana and throughout the state of Louisiana.
