Church Bazaar to raise money for insurance and improvements to our church

The 90th annual Natchitoches Christmas Festival of Lights will run through January 6, and is well worth the road trip to get in the holiday spirit.

The 32nd annual 5,000 Egg Giant Omelette Celebration will be held in Abbeville this weekend at beautiful Magdalen Square.

Delcambre High School's Project Graduation will be hosting a Gumbo Cookoff December 3 to raise funds for their event. The event will be held at the Delcambre Shrimp Festival grounds, with judging/serving at 1pm. Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for kids 6-12...

A group of us who lived and worked together in the dorms at USL (a long time ago) will have a booth at the Sweet Dough Pie Festival on October 22 in Grand Coteau!

The Louisiana Cattle Festival and Fair is celebrating 68 years this weekend in Abbeville.

The Krewe de Red Hot Scott will hold their second annual Rice & Gravy Cookoff on Saturday, November 5th at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Scott.

We are still looking for sponsors and vendors. Also still inviting local churches and their choirs to perform.

The 27th annual World Championship Gumbo Cook Off is set for October 8 and 9 in downtown New Iberia.
