A cupcakery. Cup-Cakery. I love that name. Lil Bite O' Heaven is a cupcakery, run by a cup-cakery lady named Teresa, who is just as passionate about her cupcakes (and cupcakery) as she is about life itself.

Our Eat Lafayette 2012 adventures continue… our most recent stop was at Joey’s at 503 Bertrand Dr. where we devoured the deliciously huge Turducken sandwich: Sliced Turducken on a Jalapeño sourdough bun dressed with pepper jack cheese, leaf lettuce, tomato and spread, served with Sweet Potato Fries for only $8.98 when you mention ‘Eat Lafayette.’

Eat Lafayette is a great opportunity to try new restaurants that you may have passed by in the past, and a reminder to revisit old favorites. Acadiana's chefs and restaurants are a main reason people drive for miles to dine with us!

Olde Tyme Grocery is no exception, recently winning 2 titles in a "Best of Acadiana" poll.

I made the trip to Olde Tyme Grocery on St Mary near UL for a delicious Shrimp PoBoy with a side order of fried potato wedges. Don't forget to register to win the cruise when you visit Olde Tyme Grocery!
