Cajuns Ink 22 on National Signing Day

Do you look at who offered to sign players who opted for your favorite school?

Or do you just wait to see how they pan out in a couple of years?

If your answer is one of the first two and you're a fan of Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns, then you were probably happy on Wednesday.

The Cajuns announced the signing of 22 players Wednesday on "National Signing Day."  Five of the players had previously been announced.

Fifteen of the 22 signees were rated three stars by at least one of the three major recruiting networks (Rivals, Scout, 24/7).  That's the most ever for the school  Many were offered by schools from BCS conferences.

The Cajuns filled a position of need by signing six defensive backs, including two from junior college, The six defensive backs were easily the most in one area addressed by the Cajuns' coaches.

The Cajuns still have four scholarships to give and more signees are possible.
