Cajundome Renovation Funding Approved

Much needed renovations to the Cajundome received funding authorization today.

Our news partners at KATC report that the State Bond Commission authorized non – profit Ragin Cajun Facilities Inc. to sell $20 million in revenue bonds to pay for upgrades to the Cajundome arena, including including the addition of lower-level seating.

Additional seats will increase seating capacity, and the Cajundome’s roofing, restrooms, concession stands, and lighting will also be overhauled.
