The manager of a Raising Cane's restaurant outside New Orleans is dead after an armed robbery believed to have been committed by a former employee. WDSU TV in New Orleans is reporting one person is in custody. He was identified as 23-year-old Joshua Every. Employees at Raising Cane's tell WDSU that Every used to work at the restaurant. Two other suspects are still on the run.

A Kenner Police spokesman said two men entered the location around 1:30am on Wednesday. The victim, 21-year-old female shift manager Taylor Friloux, was stabbed multiple times during the robbery. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she later died.

Investigators say it's likely a third suspect was in a getaway car outside the restaurant. We'll continue to update the story as we get information.
