We're still not sure if we want 'Breaking Bad' to open up its doors once more for the proposed 'Better Call Saul' prequel spinoff, though the recent revelation that we'd at least have Jonathan Banks back as Mike certainly helped. Now, Dean Norris becomes the latest 'Breaking Bad' cast member to weigh in on the possibility of a return along with an update on Aaron Paul's interest.

You're warned of 'Breaking Bad' spoilers from here on out (the series is on Netflix in its entirety, get on that!), but given the prequel status of 'Better Call Saul,' fans have frequently wondered if such deceased characters as Gus (Giancarlo Esposito) or Hank (Dean Norris) might put in return appearances. Norris himself recently weighed in via interview with the Associated Press, claiming his 'Under the Dome' commitments weren't the only hiccup:

I don't think they'll let me do a little cable show...[but] I think that experience was that experience. I'm not a big fan of kind of revisiting something that has already been done. But I think it's going to be awesome. So I can't wait to see it.

Of course, if 'Better Call Saul' ends up with the kind of longevity AMC undoubtedly wants from it, Norris might change his tune down the line. If nothing else, 'Need For Speed' star Aaron Paul remains open to the possibility, claiming to have had "serious talks" about putting in a return appearance. "I owe [Vince Gilligan] my entire career. And the idea of jumping into the skin of Jesse Pinkman again in his lighter days — because it's all a prequel — it would be fun."

Apart from its likely November 2014 premiere, much of ‘Better Call Saul’ remains shrouded in mystery, as series star Bob Odenkirk suggested the spinoff could well catch up with Saul post-’Breaking Bad,’ despite its prequel nature. Bryan Cranston has also expressed his interest in appearing on the series, as well, though likely only in cameo.

Well, what do you think? Would 'Better Call Saul' do well to return as many 'Breaking Bad' stars as possible, or would you want to see the prequel spinoff establish its own cast of characters?
