Bourbon Street Battleground

Despite some great progress in the six years since Hurricane Katrina, and good press such as the success of performers like Scotty Granger and making the 'Cities on the Edge of Greatness' list, the news out of New Orleans lately has been awful.  The Danziger Bridge Trial, the Dirtiest City designation, and now, these shootings on Bourbon Street. Over the weekend, a street known for being the place to party became a battleground. A man took a couple of shots and hit some innocent bystanders outside the Bourbon Street Krystal Burger and a man from New Iberia allegedly pulled a gun on police officers and they shot and killed him outside Razoo's. Surveillance video actually captured the Krystal gunfire.
