Bonnie Franklin From ‘One Day At A Time’ Dies

"Ann Romano" was the "single mom" to Julie and Barbara Cooper (who happened to be two of  my crushes during my coming-of-age years), friend to Schneider, and an account executive at an ad agency; her struggles with juggling them together weaved the fabric for a pretty good sitcom in the mid-'70s to early '80s, One Day At a Time.

Bonnie Franklin died today from pancreatic cancer.

Her career started at the age of 9, and she was still working as late as 2008.  She was 69 years old.
