Update: Booked into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center were 20 year old Jake Richard from Henderson, LA and 38 year old Paul Parker from Carencro, LA both are charged with manufacturing and possessing a bomb.  Richard was the driver of the vehicle stopped initially while Parker is the primary resident on Ombrage.  Three other detainees were questioned and released by deputies.

Update: The home where Lafayette Parish Sheriff's deputies say the suspect who was pulled over left from and is part of the original narcotics investigation has been secured.

That's according to our news partners at KATC, who say the home is separate and away from the scene of the explosive devices. Authorities are still on the scene, and according to KATC, one of the two devices has been detonated and rendered safe.

Also, four suspects have been detained.

Update: An unidentified suspect has been arrested after two explosive devices were found in a truck during a traffic stop in Carencro on Wednesday.

Spokesman Captain Kip Judice with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office says this was part of an ongoing narcotics case in the area. Capt. Judice says Louisiana State Police Haz Mat crew members, deputies with the Sheriff's Office and Fire Department officials are out in the area - Bajat Road, Joli Road and Briarfield Drive - and have it closed down as they continue to investigate.

Haz Mat Teams and deputies with the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office are on the scene of Bajat Road in Carencro after two explosive devices were found inside a car.

That's according to spokesperson Captain Kip Judice, who says the bombs were found during a routine traffic stop. He says there is an evacuation of homes in the immediate area under way.

According to our news partners at KATC, Joli Road and Briarfield Drive have also been closed. Six homes in the area have been evacuated.
