Boil Advisory On Kaliste Saloom

Lafayette Utilities System (LUS) has issued a boil water advisory for all residences and commercial sites on the east side of Kaliste Saloom Road from Miguel Drive to Rue Louis XIV.

KATC reports that the advisory is due to the accidental puncturing of a major LUS water line, which caused a significant drop in pressure earlier this afternoon.

Water should be boiled for one full minute before drinking or use for cooking.
