The birth of Blue Ivy Carter to Beyonce Knowles and Shawn ‘Jay-Z’ Carter may have delighted fans of the famous couple, but it’s not such a big hit with some of the other new parents at the Manhatten hospitial in which she was born.

To ensure privacy, Beyonce and Jay-Z reportedly paid Lenox Hill Hospital $1.3 million to delivery their baby in a large suite, and also brought in a security team to further bolster Lennox’s already expanded force.

According to Neil Coulon, whose wife recently gave birth to premature twins at the hospital, all the extra security has meant that on four different occasions since Blue Ivy’s birth he was prevented from seeing his newborns.

They just used the hospital like it was their own and nobody else mattered,” Coulon told the New York Post.

Anonymous hospital workers confirmed that there have been a lot of complaints from other new parents about the hospital being in a sort of a “lockdown” mode.

On Sunday, Beyonce received visitors at the hospital including a make-up artist, which we assume was for the 30-year old Grammy winner, and not for the latest addition to hip-hop’s royal family.
