Blue Bell Ice Cream Recalled After Three Deaths

Blue Bell Creameries has issued a recall in the wake of five people taking ill after eating its products. All five were in a Kansas hospital between January, 2014 and January of this year. Three of the patients died. The ice cream containing Listeria monocytogenes was produced at the facility in Brenham, Texas. A list of the  recalled products has been posted on the Blue Bell website. The company says all the affected products have been removed from store shelves. Consumers with questions can call 1-888-SAFEFOOD Monday - Friday.
