Blackmail Allegations Lead To A Cadet Getting Dumped & Arrested

A man fled when an investigation in Louisiana began about some nude photographs that he allegedly maid to a US Army General.

Special Victims' Unit investigators say this all started when they were called by the US Army in reference to Jimmy M. Kassis.

Kassis was part of the State Police Academy that started training at the end of May when they starrted their own investigation.

Police alleged that he was also planning to send the pictures to another person in the Army.

Kassis was out of the Army, and then he was kicked out of the State Police Academy, but when they went to arrest him at his home in Thibodaux, he had fled.

He was arrested in Van Buren Township, Michigan in June, and he was recently extradited to Louisiana where he was booked into the Lafourche Parish jail.
