Black Eyed Peas, Bono, Justin Bieber Support Science Education [UPDATE]
August 23, 2011 1:43 PM 8/23/11 UPDATE: Lafayette Parish ‘FIRST Robotics’ is having their kickoff meeting today at Comeaux at 5:15 in Room 219. It is open to all Lafayette Parish Public High School Student in grades 9-12. This is the meeting where you can find out what it’s all about!
Congratulations to Comeaux High School’s Team Phenomena who won the ‘Rookie All-Star’ Award at their first FIRST Robotics competition! Young people are getting into science thanks to some help from some pretty high-profile stars and this TV show proves it! The special was made at the Championship in St. Louis and features The Black Eyed Peas, Justin Bieber and lots more celebrities declaring ‘Science is Rock & Roll!’ Now this a reality TV show worth watching!
