Bernadette Lee And CJ Host RIO Mardi Gras Ball Tonight, Behind The Scenes Pics Of Bernie [PHOTOS]

Tonight is one of, if not the largest mardi gras balls/show in Acadiana and Bernadette Lee and I will be the hosts for the evening.  Last night was rehearsal, and I snapped photos of Bernie in all her craziness.

Tonight's RIO ball, themed "The Agents of RIO", is directed by Bob Pastor and a team of lighting and sound experts.  From the costumes to the sets, your mind will be blown.  RIO is the first and may just be the grandest party of the mardi gras season.  This year will be rich with adventure.

Originally I was asked to emcee this magnificent ball alone, but due to some personal events, I felt as though it would be best if I has a partner in crime.  Debbie Ray and I are on vacation and my favorite hysterical gall pal Bernadette Lee from our sister station KPEL was in town and so graciously said yes.  Bernie makes me laugh constantly and I know will be a hoot tonight, especially if we mess up!

The ball tonight will end with the Diva of Creole Soul, Connie Garrett and her complete band Creole Soul.  We have had Connie Garrett on many of the CJ and Debbie Ray Sail Aways and she is a phenomenal performer.  A breakfast will be served at 10:30PM.
