Benefit Information for Shaylen Richard

The following information was sent to me by a friend, Holly Castille.  She is the grandmother of Shaylen Richard, a 5-year-old girl who lost both of her parents in a motorcycle accident in 2010 (Holly’s daughter and son-in-law):

Shaylen Richard is a sweet five year old girl that lost both of her parents, Amber Chaisson Richard & Roderick “T-Pap” Richard, in a motorcycle accident on October 9, 2010.

Shaylen lives with her maternal grandmother, Holly Castille, who plans to buy a home, in hopes of giving Shaylen what most little girls have, more than just a yard and a house, but a place to call HOME.  This is very important to Holly, as she wants  to reassure Shaylen that when she grows up she will have a place of her own.  Because Shaylen’s parents are no longer here to make sure she always has a place to call HOME, we hope you will join us in helping with this new beginning for Shaylen and Holly.
A benefit will be held on Saturday, February 4th, and the Carencro Community Center, beginning at 9am.

The benefit will feature music from Geno Delafose, Jo-el Sonnier, The South Wind Band, Dustin Ray, Brenda C and CajunJammers, Brikki Robin, Louisiana Kids, Elvis & The Insta Gators, Hannah Belle Sutherland, Jamie Bergeron and Belton Richard.
