Life isn't fair! No 16 year old should be fighting cancer. That's exactly what Anais Alleman has found herself having to do. She was diagnosed with

Acute Myeloid Leukemia in December. I hate cancer! The cost of fighting this brutal illness is staggering. There will be a benefit for Anais this Saturday (May 7th) at the Rayne Pavilion, from 10am - 10 pm. The event will feature live music from Shane Vanicor & the Blues Intruders, One Trick Pony, Ken Holloway, Clay Cormier & the Highway Boys, Shane Cormier & Cajunation, and Rockin' W Productions. Food & drinks will be available. There will a supervised kid zone with slides, fun jumps, face painting, and more. There will also be a poker run, live & silent auction, and a raffle. If you can't make it to the event, you can donate by phone, at (337) 230- 0159, or 849 - 9818.
