Bayou Vermilion To Celebrate Earth Day April 19
The public is invited to join the Bayou Vermilion District (BVD) as they celebrate Earth Day on Sunday, April 19 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Join them as they bring together various organizations to Vermilionville in an effort to raise awareness and inspire appreciation for our planet Earth. Enjoy the music of the Lafayette Rhythm Devils and ŒUVAL, register for the free Wise Water raffle, and take a tour of the Bayou Vermilion in our a traditionally and locally built bateau, The Cocodrie.
The Bayou Vermilion District is also excited to offer for the first time this year, a Reduce-Reuse-Recycle garage sale and swap meet. Anyone who is doing spring cleaning or looking to de-clutter can bring unwanted items that are still in good condition to trade or donate.
