Banksy Painting Sells For $1.4 Million, Then Self Destructs [Video]

Artists often tend to  be a little eccentric. Here's a new extreme. Banksy is a reclusive British artist who works in multimedia. CNN reports his painting "Girl With Balloon" was recently sold by Britain's premiere auction house, Sotheby's. The winning bid was $1.4 million dollars. Moments after the gavel fell, the painting shredded itself. The artist had built a shredder into the picture frame. The stunt was years in the making. Click here to see video of its construction.
