What ‘Back To The Future 2′ Got Right (And Wrong) About 2015 [VIDEO]

Back To The Future 2 was released in 1989, and when the film depicted the future (2015) they were spot on about a lot of things—but not so much on a few others.

Today is technically "the future"—being that Doc and Marty set their time machine for this exact date (Wednesday, October 21, 2015) but was their idea of what 2015 would be even close to the real thing?

They totally nailed it when it came to video chatting, big screen televisions—even the Cubs in the World Series (maybe?). Unfortunately, Hoverwheelz and Acura have only provided us with hoverboard-like items—not an actual operating hover board like the one we fell in love with in the movie.

Back To The Future got a lot right, and a lot wrong—but we can all agree that the future is a great time to be alive.
