Be Nice Barbra

These days it’s not a wise move to insult the Fox show Glee. Barbra Streisand learned that over the weekend when she was asked a simple question at Grammy's MusiCares tribute in her honor. When asked whether she'd ever consider appearing on Glee, she told reporters, "not if I can help it." Now, creator Ryan Murphy didn't come down on Babs the way he did Kings of Leon, but something must have happened, because Barbra quickly apologized. "When asked if I would ever appear on Glee, I should have said, 'You never know.' It was wrong to say, 'Not if I can help it,'" she wrote on her website.   "I’m so honored that a lead character on Glee is so admiring of my work. In my speech at MusiCares, I thanked them for exposing young people to music they might otherwise not hear today: Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison, and Darren Criss…you’re all so gifted."
