I’m Rob Kirkpatrick. I’m a husband. I’m a Dad. I’m a proud UL Lafayette graduate. I’m a fierce reporter at heart and always digging for a good story. But most importantly in this space: I’m the fearless leader of Townsquare Media's news brands in Lafayette and Bernadette Lee’s partner in crime on “Acadiana’s Morning News”. News is something I always knew I wanted to do. My first on-air experience was in 3rd grade at Lyon Elementary in Covington, LA. I gave the announcements, weather and cafeteria menu every morning on closed-circuit television. Since then, I have covered the news with KATC in Acadiana, in Dallas with FOX 4’s “Good Day”, in Atlanta with CNN Newsource and now back in Lafayette with Townsquare Media. I consider myself lucky to do what I love and raise my two little girls in Acadiana with my amazing wife Sarah.
