Are you a 'Nerd'? Be proud of it! The word used to evoke images of somebody wearing his pants like Steve Erkel, pocket protectors, horn rimmed glasses with tape on them. Things have changed.

Emmanuel Ortiz is proud to be a nerd. He’s promoting  nerd culture online via the magazine NerdCaliber.com. Ortiz carries an Android smartphone with a textured R2-D2 case, and a Star Wars ringtone. He calls it a “droid-droid.”  There may be a little Nerd in all of us these days.
