Are These The Mummified Remains Of An Alien?

I've been fascinated by the unknown since an early age. My mom bought me some of those great Time - Life books (you had to order those on TV back then) about UFOs, ghosts, and other unexplained phenomena.

I scan the headlines most days to keep up with the latest paranormal news. I found this story a few weeks ago. It's one of the most interesting cases I've ever read about.

This tiny corpse was found by Russian officials in the possession of an elderly peasant woman. She claimed she heard voices that led her to discover the then - living creature in a nearby cemetery. She took the tiny creature home and cared for it, naming Alyoshenka. When word spread that the woman had a child and was mentally ill, authorities placed her in an mental institution. A neighbor entered the woman's house days later and found the body of the now - deceased child, which he kept until police found it in his home during a search.

Conspiracy theorists claim this creature is an alien being. Its body disappeared after being studied by government officials, and the woman who claimed to have cared for it when it was alive died years later while being transported from one facility to another.

Skeptics claim it's just a child with a severe medical deformity, caused by a nuclear accident in the area. Assuming the photo is real, I don't think a deformity would be this symmetrical and uniform. That's just my opinion, though.
