Animation Of The Flood-Inducing Storm Over 12 Days [Video]

The LSU Earth Scan Laboratory put together this unique look at the storm that caused historic flooding in Louisiana over a 12 day period.

The animation shows cloud top temperatures through the life of the storm.

Just watching the animation of how much the lower area of the state was getting hit, and where it all came from (all directions, and sometimes out of nowhere) was gut-wrenching and amazing at the same time.
