Love him or hate him, New Orleans contestant Quentin Alexander gave us some of the greatest live television we've seen in a long time on last night's 'American Idol.' The twenty-one year old expressed his emotion by calling the "whole thing whack" after his "best friend" Joey Cook ended up in the bottom two in this week's voting. The tension onstage and in the venue was serious. The judge from NOLA, Harry Connick, Jr., called Alexander out for being disrespectful and the tension elevated. The contestant came back out and stood over Harry saying that he didn't mean any disrespect, that the emotion of possibly losing his best friend got to him. Ryan Seacrest later said he thought Alexander was going to hit Connick, and the contestant replied saying, "I was raised way better than that." The incident may do good things for the show's ratings. Probably not so much for Alexander's chances on the show
