American Cancer Society’s 2015 Black And White Gala (PHOTOS)

The American Cancer Society's (ACS) 2015 Black and White Gala was held this weekend, raising money to continue the mission of the ACS.

It was my honor to perform the duties of Master of Ceremonies again this year, as I was surrounded by people of Acadiana who want to make a difference.  (A huge thanks to Mary Ellen's Tux Shop for helping me get "cleaned-up" for the night!)

Aside from raising money for the cause, the event recognizes the talents and achievements of people in Acadiana who have distinguished themselves in the fight against cancer.

The "Spirit of Hope" Award winners this year included Dr. Gene Brierre, Jamie Duhon, Charley Hutchens, Terri Landry and Allison Walters.

"Jet 7" provided the entertainment for the evening.
