There's a new study that may have assertive women in the workplace having to rethink the way they treat others.

The study found that women in the workplace who like wearing the pants, so to speak, will find themselves making 35% less than nicer women in the same situation.  That equates to about $15,000 less per year.

Men who are too aggressive or forceful also lose money compared to me who aren't.  But the lose is not as drastic as it is with dominant women.   Men only lose about 17% of income.

The study found that women in demanding jobs can take a stance without sounding harsh by virtually apologizing for being assertive BEFORE speaking to an employee about a problem.  It's a shame that in 2015, it still has to be this way.
